Why this page exists

Most free QR code generators do not really generate a QR code. They create a redirect through their own server, and that redirect is what gets encoded into the image. In practice they see every scan, and the day they shut down or move behind a paywall, the posters you already printed lead nowhere.

These tools do the opposite. All the computation happens in your browser. Nothing is sent, nothing is stored, no email address is asked for. And this is not a promise you have to take on trust, it is verifiable: open your browser's Network tab, use the tool, and watch. Nothing happens.

The price is honest, so let's state it upfront. Since nothing goes through a server, nobody can count your scans, myself included. That is not a limitation we put up with, it is the exact counterpart of what we promise you.

The second intent of this page is to explain what you are actually building. Every field has its question mark. Understanding where your data goes, who stores it and what a parameter really does is already taking back control of your tools.
